• You may not abuse the AI comparison feature or attempt to bypass rate limits
• You may not use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without prior written consent

The Abacus and its contributors shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use this service, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Users are solely responsible for financial decisions made based on calculator results.

6. Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. All calculator data is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or sell your personal information. Please review our Privacy Policy for more details.

7. Intellectual Property

The Abacus source code is open source and available under the MIT License on GitHub. The Abacus name, logo, and branding are proprietary. You may not use our branding without permission.

8. User-Generated Content

Any scenarios you save are stored locally on your device. If you choose to export data to our cloud storage (optional), you retain all rights to your data. Exported files are automatically deleted after 7 days.

9. Third-Party Services

The Abacus uses third-party services for:

• Cloudflare: Hosting and CDN services
• ExchangeRate-API: Currency exchange rates
• Cloudflare Workers AI: AI comparison feature

These services have their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.

10. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which The Abacus operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
